COLEMAN STATEMENT ON GOVERNOR DAYTON’S SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET PROPOSAL

CHANHASSEN, MN – Jake Coleman, candidate for Minnesota Senate District 47 in Carver County, issued the following statement in response to Governor Dayton proposing $698 million supplemental budget proposal.

“With state government fully funded through June of 2017, there is no reason to spend more of the hard-earned tax dollars of Minnesotans for this budget cycle,” said Coleman. “The surplus money sitting in government coffers in St. Paul should be used for one thing only – tax relief for Minnesotans.”

About Jake Coleman for State Senate

I am running for State Senate because I believe that Minnesota needs fresh voice and a bold vision in our state legislature. I want to bring common sense solutions, as well as policies that offer choice, growth and prosperity, instead of recycling the same ideas again and again.
